Hi. Matt with etrailer. Today, we are gonna be talking about the CTEK Trolley Battery Station. So, let's take a closer look at it. So, if you're like us and you're in a larger work area where you're going from bay to bay working on different vehicles, you don't want to have to carry all those tools with you, especially if you do need to jump anything. So, this is gonna be something that just is a little bit more adaptable to your situation.

But of course, that's just how we're using it. We'd love to hear how you're using it in either a comment or review below. So, the main thing that's gonna separate this trolley from other type of carts out there, is gonna be that it has a designated spot for your battery chargers. And the CTEK chargers that it's gonna be compatible with are gonna be the MUS 25000 and then the MXS 25EC. Now, you can put one of each on either side or one of both on each side.

So, it's nice that you can put two, so you can charge two batteries at once. It's gonna have no drilling that's required for this mounting. It's just gonna use these little pre-drilled holes here. They'll have some thread in there and it just threads right into place. So, it makes it super easy to install.

And right next to that we're gonna have these spots where you can put your cables where everything stays nice and neat. And right next to that we're gonna have these alligator clamps that grab right onto these open spots. And we are gonna have another mounting location for those extra cables if you do have two chargers on here. And of course there's gonna be those spots for the alligator clamps. You'll also notice a lot of holes on here.

That should great if you have, let's say, a different charger. You should be able to mount that on here too. You might just have to orient it in a different way. Now, it is gonna have another benefit of having those wheels, so you can swivel this around to kinda move around in your shop. Now, we'll say this moves pretty well 'cause we are gonna have these larger tires in the back, smaller ones in the front that have the ability to swivel, so if you need to get through some tighter spots like I have right here where we have this lift, I can do that pretty easily. And once you have this in the spot that you wanna keep it at, I just come to the front of it and lock these wheels into place so it doesn't go anywhere. And why I like that is 'cause if I ever need to go around the shop, let's say, I need a few more tools. I can just quickly walk on by here, grab what I need and keep going. And if I need to get a little bit closer to my vehicle to charge up that battery I can, and find a good spot to plug into the wall too. And on the topic of plugging into the wall, if you're gonna be doing that, you need to make sure that you are using these eyelets here on the side to run this through. What this is gonna do is just help manage that cable so it's not hanging all over the place. So, let's focus a little bit more on the shelves now. So, with the top one, this is gonna have a total weight rating of 22 pounds. So, this is perfect for these lighter tools. We have some wrenches, some eye protection, rulers, anything of that nature, that's gonna be perfectly fine. And it's also gonna be recommended to put some laptops on here. So, if you need to look up anything while you're in the shop, you can do that right from here 'cause we are gonna have this little mat at the bottom. This does a really good job at holding everything into place so it's not sliding all over the place, which is important if you are moving around a shop that has some grime on the ground or just some cracks that make things a little bit bumpy. We're also gonna have this little shelf that comes out here to the side so you even have a little bit more space to use at your disposal. And moving to the bottom, we're gonna have a weight capacity of 55 pounds. So, this gonna be perfect for anything heavier like your batteries. And anything like that you wanna make sure is a little bit more stable. So, having it closer to the ground's gonna help you in that respect. And again, we're gonna have that rubberized mat to help everything from sliding around. Overall, I think this will be great, especially if you do need to charge those batteries.
